Meet Dawn

Dawn gets results. She brings the right people together, breaks through barriers, and is known for getting things done! District 7 needs that strong, no-nonsense leadership on the County Council.

A lifelong Marylander, Dawn has proudly called District 7 home for nearly 20 years, living in Selby and now Crofton for the past 18. She brings more than 25 years of experience across academia, industry, and government, leading large-scale programs that streamlined government, created jobs, strengthened education and workforce development, and ensured strong public safety. As a proud University of Maryland graduate and Vice President of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education. Dawn is running for County Council to address the rising cost of living, streamline regulations for small businesses, ensure adequate public safety resources, and manage growth responsibly. She will fight to protect South County’s rural character while pushing back against overdevelopment in Crofton and Edgewater.
